Hello Jade,

Thank you for your questions.

Marți is not an adjective, it is in fact a noun, just like the names of all the other days of the week.

The sentence ”Azi este Sâmbătă 10 septembrie” should be ”Azi este sâmbătă, 10 septembrie.” I will let our content team know about it, to make the changes.

Thank you for learning Romanian with our team.

If other questions come up, please let us know.

Sincerely,

Patricia

Why is Marți an adjective and not a noun like the names of all the other days of the week?

Hello, if in a Romanian sentence, unless it's the first word, any day of the week is written with lowercase then why is sâmbăta in capitalised n the sentence below?

Azi este Sâmbătă 10 septembrie.

Thank you

Is friday/vineri supposed to be with a lowercase in Romanian? Or is this a typo?
