Michael: And welcome to Culture Class: Essential Romanian Vocabulary, Season 1, Lesson 23! In this lesson, you'll learn five essential names related to people and homes. Michael: Vlad the Impaler is the historical figure that Count Dracula was based upon. He led Romania during one of its most dangerous periods and was able to defend the country and establish peace. He would be unknown outside of Romania except for the famous English novel that portrayed him as a character.
